About
On the institute, the man behind it, and what this is all for.
The Moribund Institute
The Moribund Institute is a one-man archival and educational operation run by MoribundMurdoch — a philologer, lexicographer, and accelerator of ideas. The name is deliberately bleak. Moribund means on the verge of dying. The Institute exists to rescue things from oblivion — words, ideas, histories, and whatever else deserves a longer life than the internet usually grants.
The word dies on the tongue if no one writes it down. — The Institute's working principle
Content here spans the full Dewey Decimal range: language and linguistics, philosophy and economics, history, technology, K-drama, cast iron, and raw milk. The only thread is that everything is worth knowing more precisely than most people bother to.
MoribundMurdoch
Philologer. Lexicographer. Finitude fighter. Low-key weeb and Koreaboo. M1911 fan. Cast iron connoisseur. Linux lover. Austrian economist. Running on Arch, IM Fell English, and black coffee.

The Wiki
A personal knowledge base lives at wiki.moribundmurdoch.com — organised by the Dewey Decimal System, built on MediaWiki, and styled to match the dark literary aesthetic of the Institute. It is not public-facing in the conventional sense. It is a memory palace.
